Mrs. Tillie Granado

January 8, 1925 - November 29, 2021

Cleotilde "Tillie" Granado (Espinoza) was born on Thursday, January 8, 1925 on a small family farm in Tres Piedras, New Mexico. In the presence of her family she peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 29, 2021, a little more than one month shy of her 97th birthday. Wife, mom, mommy, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and most beloved daughter of our Heavenly Father, she left a legacy of love, devotion and commitment to everyone she touched. A legacy to be adored for eternity. And now it is with great faith and love that we share the celebration of her life with you. Tillie is a woman that lived out the Lord's commandments of love, respect and devotion, and gave that love unconditionally to everyone. She is survived by six of her children, Linda (Ray), Gloria (Rodell), David (Anne), Alvin (Lisa), Veronica, Doreen (Jack) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as a brother and four sisters. She is preceded in her journey home by her husband Joseph, two sons Jacie and Joey, daughter Lorraine, grandson Sevio, and son-in-law Michael. Also with her in heaven are three sisters and one brother. Her entire life was dedicated to raising, loving and leading her children and grandchildren in a strong Christian upbringing. Tillie is known throughout the western United States for her infamous green chili, homemade tortillas, an unabashed opinion of the world and a strength of mind and body that we all admired. She constantly worried about us all, prayed unceasingly, cooked more food than we could possibly eat (there were always leftovers), blessed everyone on every trip we took and heartfully comforted us in our time of need. All that she was and is to all of her loved ones will be deeply missed, and will always be in our hearts as countless memories of her laughter, smiles, hugs and unconditional love for everyone. It is her love and dedication to our Lord that inspires and comforts us now, in this time of sorrow. She instilled in our family a strong dedication to our faith and it is with this faith that we are confident she is joyfully in the presence of our Father God in heaven, welcomed with open arms by our family already there. Thank you Jesus.
