Kelly Lynn Tinlin
March 5, 1992 - March 14, 2022
Obituary for Kelly Lynn Tinlin and her son, Arthur Myles Strickland Kelly graced the earth from March 5, 1992 to March 14, 2022. Her physical beauty was overshadowed only by her wonderous soul and spirit. She was vivacious. She was strong. She was compassionate. She was caring. She was nurturing. She was loving. And, she was loved! Kelly was happy and blessed. Within a few short years, her soul mate, Seth Tedesco Strickland, had completed her. Together they started a family of their own. Seth became a father. Kelly became an amazing mother. Arthur Myles Strickland, their son, was so beloved – even though he passed a few weeks before his birthday. While Kelly left this life with her son, she left her beloved fiancé, Seth Strickland, behind. Although this is tragic, she didn’t leave the earth before they both knew what it is to unconditionally love another. (Some people never know this.) Please lift Seth up as he charts a new life for himself, with our love and support, and with what I am sure (because as her mother, I knew her like no other) will be Kelly’s wholehearted blessings. Kelly and her beloved Arthur also left me, Cynthia Musselman, and my partner, Kent Krebeck; her father, Kyle Tinlin, and his wife, Jolene; her grandmother, Marie Tinlin; her brother, Shane Acuff; her Uncle Pete, her Aunt Darlene, Seth’s parents Candace and Steve, and Seth’s siblings, Hannah and Brock and his wife, Melissa. The list of Kelly’s friends and relatives is long. Our hearts are broken quite completely. I think perhaps this was necessary, so that Kelly could gather up bits and pieces to take with her and her son to heaven (as my Aunt Betty so aptly suggested). I can attest that the hole in my heart is real. It softens the terrible blow to know that Kelly has friends and loved ones, who have preceded her, to welcome her and her son into their arms in Heaven. Kelly always opened her heart to care for people and for animals. She loved children and had a unique and admirable compassion for those who were broken or hurting in some way. People have asked how they can help. Donations to research for the eradication of Epilepsy in Kelly’s name may be appropriate. Or, you may choose to continue Kelly’s legacy for caring for those in need. Or perhaps, most importantly and quite simply, remember to hug your children, and each other, whenever you can.
