Jennie Louise Bauchert

March 19, 1970 - October 22, 2021

Jennie Louise Dunn Bauchert was born March 19, 1970, to Frank Elvonne Dunn and Barbara Jean Ransom Dunn of Fort Worth, TX.  Jennie graduated from high school in 1988 from Calvary Academy where she was a basketball and volleyball team member. She made many sweet friendships there that have lasted a lifetime. From high school, she ventured to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX and then on to Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock, TX, graduating in 1994 with a major in Human Services and a Minor in Child Development.  In 1996 Jennie was married to James Bauchert, for 22 years. During their marriage they had two beautiful children, Holly Nicole and Ryan Andrew. Her favorite accomplishment throughout her entire lifetime was that of being a mother to these two amazing human beings. She absolutely loved doing the “mom things” such as planning birthdays and making sure that they both were involved in extra-curricular activities and sports.  Jennie became certified as a medical assistant and as a nursing assistant in 2015. In 2018 she became a massage therapist, and in doing so she found an occupation that she truly loved. She was very passionate about helping people and visiting those who needed human connection..wherever they might be.  She was very well-known for the manner in which she kept up with each and every person that was special to her. It was a natural part of her personality to include and pull groups of people together in order to make them feel important. If she moved from one city to another, you could be sure that if you were a dear friend, she would never, ever forget you. She would even make long-distance trips to see you. Friendships were very important to her and she was truly a faithful friend. After a three-month battle with Covid pneumonia, Jennie passed away very early morning on October 22, 2021. Jennie was swept up in the arms of Jesus, carried home to be with Him and her loved ones who have gone before her.  The ones left to cherish Jennie’s memory are her two beautiful children, Holly and Ryan, her sister Vonda Withers, her nephew and niece, Alex and Tori, her grand-niece, Roni, her aunt, Betty Cagle, cousin Todd Cagle and his wife, Julie, their daughter and her husband, Elise and Thaddeus Willeford, her aunt Patti Dunn, cousin Leslie Mida and her family, and other family members, Jane Schertz and her brother and his wife, Stuart and Marilyn Schertz. She also leaves behind the rest of her children’s family on the Bauchert side as well as many many friends and loved ones.  Jennie’s family would like for her to be remembered as someone who loved her family deeply, loved celebration, adventure, friendship and had deep desire to bring honor and glory to her Savior, Jesus Christ.
