Charles Joseph Hyde

March 17, 1947 - November 30, 2021

Charles Joseph "Chuck" Hyde, 74, of Universal passed away from COVID in Colorado, where he was currently residing, on November 30, 2021. He attended Western Military Academy and Indiana State University. Joe worked as an ironworker, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was Town Marshall of Universal, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Charles Hyde of Universal; sister, Bonita "Bonne" Jean Mothersbaugh of Universal; and his son, Brandon Harlan Hyde. He is survived by his niece and nephews: Kellie, Greg and Darren; cousin, Brenda Muzzarelli of Clinton, cousins from Helen and Howard Shew family of Universal and Mary and Julius Lencioni family of Chicago; and, his friend, Andrea. Joe will join his parents at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
