Born august 2nd 1927 Del Norte, Colorado -Parents Maclovio Gonzales Barbarita Valdez (Both from Ojo Caliente, New Mexico) -Siblings She was the eldest of 6 children; Angelita Gonzales, Roy Gonzales, Gilbert Gonzales, Priscilla Gonzales, Danny Gonzales, Peggy Gonzales. She moved to Denver with her Husband Thomas Fernandez (Dec 5 1918 -march 3 1992), they were Married Jan 3rd 1947. -children Robert Thomas Fernandez (Aug 5 1947 -July 20 1989 ) 3 grandchildren Charmaine Dominic Roberta William Raymond Fernandez (Aug 27 1948 -Sept 7 1948) Kathleen Esther Tucci 2 grandchildren Tammy Tony Albert Richard Fernandez 3 grandchildren Denise Michael Angie Annette Renee Fernandez (may 15 1963 - Nov 28 2020) 3 grandchildren Joshua Justin Jeremiah Angie was a devoted daughter, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother and so much more to those who were blessed to have known her . She loved to spend time with friends and family making her famous home made tortillas ,sopapillas and green chili . She loved to go to bingo and central city and was always lucky ! She worked at Maranatha Christian school for many years until she retired She will be dearly missed by countless great and great great grandchildren as well as many friends who became family along life’s journey.
